Governance

Cévennes 2050 association is managed collegially. The Collegial Board comprises 7 to 10 members elected for 3 years at the General Assembly; they meet at least every six months and make decisions by consensus.

The Steering Committee (COPIL) brings together the Collegial Board and all the thematic commissions: Projects (Land trust, Cambon, Research, Garden), Communication, Administration, Finance, Associative life and Mediation. This structure allows everyone to contribute according to their interests and skills, in line with our shared governance goal.

Association bylaws

The bylaws define the legal framework and operation of the Cévennes 2050 association, governed by the French Law of 1 July 1901. The internal rules, established by the collegial board and approved by the general assembly, clarify internal administrative points not covered by the bylaws.

Purpose of the association

“Accompanying the Cévennes territory and its Piémont towards greater solidarity and cooperation, with respect for the environment.

By developing food autonomy, water resources, ecological housing, living together, socio-economic issues, shared governance, through citizen actions, participatory work sites, cultural events, and public awareness actions via popular education.”
